Fleetwood Management gets $1.4m financing from Washington Trust Co.

Providence, RI The Washington Trust Company's commercial real estate group is providing $1.4 million in financing to Fleetwood Management Co., to purchase and upgrade four apartment properties at 966 Hope St., 102 South Angell St., 145 Butler Ave. and 158 Medway St.

Fleetwood Mgmt. is owned by Ryan Taylor, and it has owned rental properties in Providence, Cranston and Warwick for more than 40 years. The company will update the Providence properties' fire alarm systems, landscaping, common areas, parking and unit interiors.

"The need for housing in Providence is critical, and this project will provide much needed and upgraded housing," said John Warren, chairman and CEO of The Washington Trust Co.
