Portsmouth, RI Brian O'Neill, CEO of O'Neill Properties Group, developer of $170 million The Tower at Carnegie Abbey and other properties on the west shore of Aquidneck Island, personally accepted the 20th annual business of the year award conferred by the Portsmouth Rotary Club.

Richard Talipsky, chairman of economic development for the town of Portsmouth, recalled the old "Kaiser junkyard", onto which no one would venture, and how O'Neill saw what could be done to make it a great asset to the town.
