National Amusements opens Showcase Cinema at Patriot Place

Movie theater operator National Amusements Inc. has opened its second Showcase Cinema de Lux movie theater at Patriot Place on August 8th. The premium reserved-seating concept was first launched as a pilot program at Showcase Cinemas Randolph by Dedham, Mass.-based National Amusements. The new Lux Level theater at Patriot Place in Foxborough will feature a VIP Lounge, soft-cushioned love-seats, wider row seating and service at the push of a button. Showcase Cinema de Lux is National Amusements' newest brand. The company operates more than 1,500 screens in the U.S., U.K., Latin American and Russia.
