The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Mass. grants wishes for children age 2½ to 18 with life-threatening medical conditions in order to enrich the human experience with hope, strength, and joy. Every year, more than 400 Mass. children are newly diagnosed with a serious illness and therefore eligible for a wish.  The East Boston Savings Bank Top Service Committee, along with 20 employee volunteers, hosted a flea market for the benefit of Make-A-Wish. Items were donated by bank employees and the money raised from selling these items, along with customer donations for Make-A-Wish stars, raised $5,000 to help make children's wishes come true. If you would like to make a donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, visit mass.wish.org or call 617-367-9474.
