Nordblom Co. promotes Fremont-Smith to senior VP of development

Nordblom Company has promoted Todd Fremont-Smith to senior vice president of development and director of mixed use projects. As senior vice president of development for Nordblom Co. Fremont oversees the permitting, development, and leasing of commercial assets. Fremont has developed property on behalf of corporate users and real estate investors, and has extensive experience investing in and transforming older, obsolete properties into successful second-generation assets. Fremont-Smith is currently master-planning the redevelopment of Northwest Park in Burlington, Mass., a 3.28 million s/f high-density mixed-use development located just off of Rte. 128. During 2006, Fremont-Smith initiated and successfully led the project's rezoning campaign, and received full state approval in January of 2007. Northwest Park is slated to be redeveloped into a high-density, vertically-integrated, mixed-use neighborhood, hosting up to 600,000 s/f of retail, restaurants, multifamily units and more than 2 million s/f of class A office space.
