Washington Trust provides $1.9 million financing

Providence, RI Washington Trust's commercial real estate group recently provided $1.9 million in financing to Parking Garage Associates, LLC of Providence, for rehabilitative improvements of a 275 space parking garage located at 231 Weybosset St., across from the Providence Performing Arts Center and Johnson & Wales University.

Parking Garage Associates, LLC is managed by Bliss Properties, Inc., whose principal is Aram Garabedian, a real estate property manager and developer.

"These renovations and upgrades will provide a safer, more efficient parking area for Providence visitors," said John Warren, Washington Trust chairman and CEO. "We are pleased to provide Mr. Garabedian with the financing for this project."
