Lebanon, NH Bruce Waters, CCIM, senior broker for McLaughry Commercial, negotiated a lease between UVLSRPC and S & W Investment Company, LLP, owners of 10 Water St. The building was originally built as part of the American Woolen Mill Company. The facility is going through renovations to accommodate a mix of Upper Valley companies, from office use and fine art studios to many research and development entities.

According to Christine Walker, executive director of UVLSRPC, "10 Water St. continued to provide a central location to our municipal client base enabling us to use both I-89 and I-91. Additionally, the facility is located near restaurants and other services which are within walking distance and is served by Advance Transit, a regional public transportation network."

The UVLSRPC has been providing professional planning assistance to municipal boards since 1963. The commission provides expertise in such areas as comprehensive planning, land use regulations, development review, transportation, natural resource inventories and economic development to name a few.

The new office will be 2,550 s/f and provide for an open work environment to enhance associate collaboration on many client projects. After renovations, the new office will be occupied in late spring of 2010.

McLaughry Comm'l. represented the landlord and assisted the tenant with the long-term lease.
