Gill and Munro of Sea Watch Realty complete $1.4 million sale
Sea Watch Realty, Inc. recently completed the sale of a 28,750 s/f industrial building with 6 acres, in the Mattapoisett Industrial Park.
Sea Watch associates James Gill and Douglas Munro assisted the seller in the transaction, namely Brownell Boat Trailers of Mattapoisett. The purchase price of $1.4 million paid by the buyer, Toyota of Dartmouth, reflects the strong market for well kept, turn key industrial buildings in the greater New Bedford region. Toyota will immediately begin renovations to the floor layout to transform the property into a state of the art regional automobile collision center, featuring three contemporary down-draft spray booths. The buyer anticipates the creation 40+ new jobs at the renovated facility.
Gill and Munro will continue the marketing of the adjacent 45,000 s/f industrial building. The property affords an opportunity to an end user application or investment vehicle. The Mattapoisett Industrial Park combines the attributes of location, outstanding logistics, labor base, and affordable prospects.
