August 13

60th Annual Clambake & Outing - Francis Farm, Rehoboth - Begins @ Noon! Enjoy clamcakes & chowder, hot dogs, little necks on the half shell, ice cream, a traditional New England Clambake w/ chicken. Fun for the whole family: softball, video arcade, organized events: bocci, horseshoes, volleyball, football toss, golf chipping, plywood throw, tug of war, nail driving, insulation throw. $75 per person. Add a lobster or steak for $15.

August 16 & 17

8-Hour Lead Safe Remodeler/Renovator Course - RIBA Meeting Room, 4-8pm

Instructor: Kent Ackley, RI Lead Technicians - This course will detail what you need to do to in Rhode Island to be in compliance with the EPA's New Lead Rule. A passing grade written exam allows attendees to apply for licensing through the RI Dept. of Health.

Cost: Members $150, Non-members $275 (includes a light meal).
