Heart becomes partner at Noble & Wickersham

Boston, MA Bennet Heart is now a partner with Noble & Wickersham LLP. Bennet's practice encompasses environmental and land use law, and design and construction law.

Bennet maintains a broad environmental and land use practice, assisting clients on regulatory strategy, permitting, compliance, and other challenges relating to air quality, water quality, wetlands, rare species, hazardous waste, tidelands, and the Mass. Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) process. He regularly represents clients before regulatory boards. A significant portion of his practice involves renewable energy projects.

Bennet represented the Boston Architectural College on a pro bono basis with regard to its participation in the 2009 Solar Decathlon green design competition.

Bennet joined Noble & Wickersham in 2007, from his position as General Counsel of the Mass. Executive Office of Environmental Affairs. He previously served as an attorney in other Mass. government agencies, the Conservation Law Foundation, and Hale & Dorr (now WilmerHale). He is a graduate of Wesleyan University and George Washington University Law School.
