Smith and Elliott join The Hutton Company

Smith was the vice-president of development at CBL and has worked in this business for more than 23 years. While at CBL, Smith had successful experience in open air development and site selection and was responsible for 5 million s/f of new development, accounting for $750 million dollars in development cost. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
Elliot, formerly of CBL and the EMJ Corp. will be the vice-president of construction for Hutton Construction. Elliot was formerly a development manager for CBL and handled site identifications, all aspects of entitlements, property acquisition and pre-development design coordination. He has been directly involved in 34 projects, managing an estimated $580 million during his 16 years of experience.

Geoff Smith received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wake Forest University. Bob Elliot received a B.S. in Environmental and Soil Sciences from the University of Tennessee, College of Agriculture and an M.P.A. with a concentration in Economic Development from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
