Lampman named director of business development for G. Greene Construction

Dick Lampman has been appointed director of business development for G. Greene Construction. Lampman brings more than 30 years of executive leadership and expertise within the healthcare, academic, life sciences, hospitality, corporate and commercial construction, as well as urban mixed-use development. As director of business development he will use his expertise and innovative ideas to develop long-term client relationships and strategic business planning. Formerly, vice president of the Tocci Building Companies, Lampman was responsible for client development and maintenance. In addition, he has held senior management positions with several ENR Top 400 companies including Perini Building Co., AMEC/Morse Diesel International, the Clark Construction Group and the Dimeo Construction Co. Lampman has been on the front lines of emerging e-business initiatives for the AEC industry, serving as a senior executive for a Silicon Valley software company developing new construction industry applications. This experience, combined with a working knowledge of today's Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) processes, gives him insight into the revolutionary possibilities, as well as the daunting challenges, facing facility owners and the AEC industry. He maintains an extensive industry network and is involved and active in a number of industry organizations including the Mass. Building Congress, of which he is Past President and current program committee member; and the Urban Land Institute's Boston District Council, where he co-chairs the real estate advisory committee. He is a member of the International Facility Managers Association, the Society for College and University Planning, and is a past president of the Boston Chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. Lampman holds a Bachelor of Architecture and Business Administration degrees from Washington State University. G. Greene Construction, established in 1966 is a full service builder and construction manager specializing in healthcare, academic, life sciences, corporate and hospitality.
