Over 75 invited vendors and other guests attended Kaydon Group holds breakfast and tour of new facility in Canton, Ma

Over 75 invited vendors and other guests braved the snow to attend a breakfast and tour of the Kaydon Group's new facility. Eli Florence, CEO of the Kaydon Group, identified his triangle of success that embraces the customer, vendor and employee. According to Florence, what it comes down to is continuous improvement, innovation, change, and a commitment to be the best: "At the Kaydon Group, we empower our people to exceed our customers' expectations and commit to providing a safe, productive and rewarding environment for our teams, vendors, and customers. Our mission is to provide customers with an exceptional value and service from a new generation of talented associates who have a passion for customer service and a 'can-do' attitude." In his presentation to the attendees, Florence also said, "While customers are the focus of everything we do, it all comes down to teamwork and honest communication with our vendors who are key partners in our success." Florence projected company revenues thru 2017 and identified vendor contributions and purchasing as a strong base for Kaydon's vision for growth. Several vendors commented that the new facility and business vision presented by Florence solidified their desires to continue working with the Kaydon Cos. One vendor said, "The Kaydon Group continues to demonstrate true quality of their work and commitment to maintaining an extraordinary team. It looks as though the team is going to get stronger from this point, committing to customer service, quality workmanship, and vendor partnerships." Florence alluded to the Kaydon culture, mission and values by which all employees abide: to conduct business with the highest standards of ethics, trust and integrity. Florence said, "We reach out to be a good corporate citizen through community involvement and philanthropic activities. Kaydon respects the dignity of the individual, nurtures diversity, and facilitates training and career development. We are excited to be in our new facility and look forward to expanding relationships with our vendors, and our new community." The Kaydon Group of Companies is comprised of Florence Electric LLC, Consolidated Electric LLC and Kaydon Integrated Systems.
