Angel Commercial acquires 7,680 s/f retail center for $3.45 million
Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial L.L.C., a Fairfield-based commercial real estate brokerage firm, has sold 1529 Post Road East, to Post Maple LLC for $3.45 million.
The subject property is situated on 2.1 acres and located at a signalized intersection in a much sought after area on the Post Road and Maple Avenue North.
The 7,680 s/f retail center attracted multiple buyers despite not being offered on the open market.
Angel said, "the seller owned the property for over 45 years. It attracted a long list of qualified buyers on an unsolicited basis due to its prime corner location, with traffic lights. Developers and national retailers seek out locations in areas with a high traffic count."
Angel represented the buyer and the seller, Joseph Rothman Westport L.L.C., in this transaction.
The property was acquired fully leased. Long term tenants include; Maple Cleaners, Boat Locker, Dunkin Donuts, Sun Reflexology and Top Drawer. There are no plans to change anything at the premises, other than a general clean up of the property.
Angel Commercial, L.L.C. is a full-service real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Fairfield County, Connecticut specializing in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of office, industrial, multi-family and retail properties on a local and national level.
