Galaxy Development acquires former Grossman's Bargain Outlet property - plans to transform into 2 retail units

Galaxy Development has acquired the former Grossman's Bargain Outlet property at the intersection of Blandin and Beaver Sts.
The project has been fully permitted for a new 20,000 s/f two tenant retail building. A lease has been executed with Dollar Tree for half of the space. Dollar Tree was represented by John Wise and John Phelan of SRA represented Galaxy.
The building was designed by Allevato Architects. Civil engineering and site design was done by Patrick Doherty of Midpoint Engineering and traffic engineering was done by Ali Khorasani of AK Associates. Legal representation for the permitting process was done by attorney Brian Levey of Beveridge & Diamond. Attorney Larry Brodeur of Fletcher Tilton in Worcester represented Galaxy for the purchase. Grossman's was represented by Tom Hornstein of the Horn Companies in Syracuse, New York.
Construction will commence immediately and the new tenants will be open for business this fall.
