Ribbon cutting for new McDonalds - East Providence, RI

The East Providence McDonald's debuted a new, modern look with a grand re-opening of the restaurant located at 72 Newport Ave. Doors officially opened November 5th, with the grand re-opening celebration which began on November 12th. The store is owned and operated by Napoli Management Co. McDonald's.
The restaurant features new, modern décor, an innovative double lane drive-thru and free Wi-Fi. Special thanks to Dixon Construction - Matt Dixon, area construction manager, Rhona Murray and regional construction manager Adam Guilmette for making the rebuild happen in only 3 months.
They were accompanied by the East Providence assistant mayor Tommy Rose, city council Tracy Adam Capobianco and East Providence Police Department for recognition.
The East Providence McDonald's grand re-opening event also coincides with two exciting initiatives. First, McDonald's representatives are thrilled to announce a new partnership with East Providence High School and the Herren Project - a nonprofit organization founded by former Celtic and recovering addict Chris Herren, dedicated to providing treatment navigation, educational and mentoring programs to those touched by addiction. From November 15 - 16, 10% of the East Providence McDonald's sales benefited the Herren Project - specifically, the initiative Project Purple. Additionally, the restaurant is proud to celebrate a $16,000 grant on behalf of Ronald McDonald House Charities to benefit Kent Hospital's Neonatal Unit.
