HarborOne Bank names Sullivan to board of directors

HarborOne Bank named former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan as the newest member to its board of directors.
Sullivan joins the board following an e political career that included eight years as U.S. Attorney and three years in Washington as the acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Beyond his political service, Sullivan brings to the board over 20 years of legal experience, with expertise in government relations, corporate compliance and ethics, health care and corporate security.

At the July board meeting, HarborOne Bank's board of directors voted to name Sullivan as the ninth member of the board of directors. Sullivan, an attorney with The Ashcroft Law Firm, has experience across multiple business sectors on compliance-related matters.
Sullivan was the Plymouth County District Attorney from 1995 to 2001. In 2001, Sullivan became the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts until 2009, where he was responsible for over 200 employees and managed a budget of $20 million. From 2006 to 2009, Sullivan served as the acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
Sullivan has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston College and received a law degree from Suffolk University Law School.
