Angel Commercial assists Summit Development on $1.45 million purchase of 9,612 s/f building

Fairfield, CT The former Stratfield Market building at 1280 Stratfield Rd., has sold to Summit Development LLC for $1.45 million, according to Brett Sherman, CCIM, senior vice president of Angel Commercial, LLC. 

The building has been vacant since 2006 when the Stratfield Market closed after being in business for over 50 years. 

Summit Development plans to redevelop the building for their new tenant, The Goddard School, a preschool franchise that will be opening in the fall.

The 9,612 s/f two-story commercial building is on 0.90 acres in the Stratfield section of town. It is at four-way signalized intersection on the corner of Stratfield Rd. and Fairfield Woods Rd.
