2017 Connecticut Building Congress’ 21st Project Team and Scholarship Awards Banquet           

Hartford, CT The Connecticut Building Congress will end the program year in celebration of the PTA Award Winning Projects and Teams. The Connecticut Building Congress will honor project teams that demonstrated extraordinary collaboration in the execution of their projects. 

The CBC Scholarship Fund also will recognize this year's scholarship recipients. 

Join us and meet representatives from the project teams, including building owners, architects, engineers, constructors, subcontractors, suppliers and subconsultants. 

Awards will be presented in the following categories:

•   K-12 Schools - New or Renovations
Merit: Francis T. Maloney High School
First: Sandy Hook School

 •   Landscape/Land Planning  NEW for 2017!
Merit: Gateways at Elizabeth Park

 •   Major Renovations / Expansions
Merit: Fairfield University Recreation Complex
First: Bedford Square

 •   New Construction
Merit: University of Bridgeport, New Residence Hall
First: Hartford Hospital Bone and Joint Institute

 •   Small Projects – New or Renovations
Merit: Hartford Steam Boiler Cafeteria
First: Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits

 •   Transportation / Utilities / Civil
Merit: Reconstruction of I-95/I-91/Rte 34 Interchange, Contract E

 •  5th Annual Project Team of the Year Award
Winning teams from each category are automatically entered, and the PTA winner will not be announced until the night of the event!
