This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of environmental health and safety issues with a focus on Connecticut sites. 

Learning Objectives

Gerard Arrotti has worked in the safety and health field for over 25 years. He began his career with Union Carbide in the 1980’s before joining OSHA as a senior industrial hygienist for several years. In his current position, he is responsible for occupational safety, crisis management, fire protection, and environmental compliance at all ESPN events and operations worldwide. ESPN has been recognized by the National Safety Council and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for several years for maintaining a DART rate 80% below the industry average. ESPN has also been recognized by the State of CT Department of Public Health as a HeartSafe Community and by the CT Department of Energy and Environmental Protection with multiple GreenCircle Awards. ESPN headquarters in CT has also been recognized as a Heart Safe Community and a StormReady Community. He holds a BS in Biology and an MS in Environmental Health Science. He is a CSP CIH, and ARM. He lives in Farmington, CT.
