Staying Safe on the Job - From Discrimination and Harassment Lawsuits 
Since well before the #MeToo movement, contractors have been hit with a variety of discrimination, harassment and retaliation lawsuits. Now the risks are even higher. We will review actual claims made against contractors and why they resulted in settlements and verdicts. More importantly, we will discuss how those claims could have been avoided and the resources available to EPLI insureds to keep them safe from employee lawsuits.

Speaker Bios:

ROSS A. ATTFIELD   | Senior Account Executive, Cyber Specialist, Cross Insurance
During his career which has spanned more than a decade, Ross has held Senior Underwriting positions at American International Group (AIG) and Hartford where he underwrote Executive Liability coverage including Cyber Liability and Technology E&O. Since becoming a broker in 2014, Ross has managed all aspects of specialized insurance programs for both startup businesses as well as large established regional employers. Ross is a graduate of St. Anselm College.

ELIZABETH TARRICONE | Senior Vice President, Risk Management, Cross Insurance
Liz is an insurance veteran with more than 30 years of professional experience in commercial insurance and risk management. Liz spent 20 years at Chubb and held varied underwriting and management positions. Liz has a strong technical background and has a solid understanding of Enterprise Risk Management including complex risk placement, professional and executive liability coverage, international brokerage, and alternative risk financing techniques including large deductible/loss sensitive programs. She is a graduate of Tufts University.

Rachelle began her insurance career in 2003 at Chubb Specialty Insurance where she spent 6 years underwriting Management Liability, including Directors & Officers and Employment Practices Liability, for privately held and publicly traded companies.  Rachelle has spent the last 9 years of her career as a wholesale broker specializing in complex risks in the life sciences, oil and gas, technology and health care industries.  Rachelle is a graduate of the University of Connecticut.
