Colliers International completes $2.39 million sale and leases 8,056 s/f

December 18, 2015 - Connecticut

Hartford, CT According to Colliers International, MF Discala & Co. has purchased the property at 51 Belamose Ave. from Fifty One Belamose LLC for $2.39 million. This 35,000 s/f industrial facility is fully occupied and will provide long term cash flow for the new landlord. Nicholas Morizio, SIOR, CRE and Ian Hunt, both brokers in the Hartford office of Colliers International, represented the seller and buyer.

In another transaction, Colliers International has arranged a long-term, 8,056 s/f lease on behalf of Ryan Ryan Deluca LLP, with the insurance and business-related litigation firm taking a portion of the sixth floor of CityPlace II in downtown.

Founded in Stamford more than 50 years ago, Ryan Ryan Deluca has now expanded its operations by opening an office at the 18-story, class A office building; the firm’s first location in Hartford.

Madison Realties LLC recently acquired the 292,000 s/f asset with plans to upgrade the property’s common areas and bathrooms.

“After years of representing Ryan Ryan Deluca in Stamford, we were engaged to find a new location for this growing firm in Hartford,” said Jeff Williams, executive managing director at Colliers International, who along with associate Hollis Pugh and Hartford office principal Phil Gagnon represented the tenant in the transaction. “We were able to find space at CityPlace II that was a perfect fit. We then worked closely with the new ownership in order for Ryan Ryan Deluca to occupy in a timely fashion.”

Joel Grieco of Cushman & Wakefield, represented the landlord in the transaction.
