Providence, RI Residential Properties Ltd. (RPL) sold the Forrest Greene House, a brick late Victorian with a carriage house on the city’s historic East Side for $1.4 million. Sales associate Jim DeRentis of RPL’s city office was the listing agent in this transaction.

According to MLS data, this marks the 26th single family sale of over $1 million this year. RPL has listed 18 of the 26 East Side single family sales of over $1 million this year (including the top two highest sales of the year), while also representing 39 of the 52 transaction sides.

Built in 1896, the Forrest Green House includes oak hardwood floors, and leaded glass windows. There is ample living space inside including six bedrooms, six and a half baths, and a wide family room which offers multiple stone and brick fireplaces. A chef’s kitchen includes a casual dining area, stainless steel appliances, stone countertops and center island with breakfast bar.
