On Thursday, September 28, BOMA hosted a Roundtable on the opioid epidemic and its effect on commercial property and safety for tenants and employees. Front line public safety professionals including: Sgt. Det. Louis Cherubino, Cambridge Police Department; superintendent Steven DeMarco, Cambridge Police Department; and Dan White, Boston Regional Intelligence Center discussed their experiences working with those affected by the opioid epidemic. This Roundtable was presented by BOMA’s emergency preparedness committee in recognition of Preparedness Month and sponsored by BELFOR Property Restoration. 

Upcoming Fall Programs
On Wednesday, October 12, BOMA Boston will hold the annual Fallfest event! This annual networking event, which draws close to 300 industry attendees, will be hosted at Hatch Fenway – located on the 8th floor of historic Landmark Center, encompassing more than 100,000 s/f and takes on the modern spirit of this twentieth-century industrial hub, fast becoming the city’s next hotbed for entrepreneurs. Landmark Center and Hatch Fenway are owned and operated by Samuels & Associates. Tickets are still available for industry members and non-members, please visit our BOMA website for more information.

Join BOMA on Tuesday, October 25 for their October Suburban Networking Nite at Copper House Tavern in Waltham. This bi-monthly event draws a crowd of commercial industry professionals for networking and cocktails at a local establishment. Networking Nites are free for BOMA Boston members; and non-members are welcome to attend at the low price of $25. 2017 BOMA Boston TOBY & Industry Awards
Join BOMA on Thursday, November 16 for The TOBY Industry & Awards Dinner to find out who the region’s best buildings and property managers are! This is BOMA Boston’s single largest gathering with close to 600 in attendance.
