How many years have you been in your current field? 1

What was your company’s greatest achievement of 2018? Designed by Crosskey Architects, Noble Hartford is a signature project in our portfolio. The vision of developers Michael Frisbie and Abdul Tammo, Noble Hartford involved the construction of a unique gas station at the site of an old automobile repair shop in Hartford’s South Downtown neighborhood. The project, which has been nominated for a CT Main Street Award, contains eight residential apartments, refueling pumps, electric recharging stations, a convenience store, and an outdoor plaza area. We are proud that this mixed-use development initiative promises to be a catalyst and inspiration for additional revitalization in our capital city.

What is the most exciting job/project for your company in 2019? We are currently in the process of constructing the Parkville Market in Hartford. Expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2019, the project is the brainchild of developer Carlos Mouta. It involves the transformation of the former Bishop Ladder Company building into a 20,000 s/f public market that will be home to various food vendors, a winery, a distillery, and event space. Located near the CTfastrak busway, the Parkville Market is reportedly the first transit-oriented development (TOD) project in Hartford since the busway first opened.

What do you like the most about doing business in the Hartford region? We have been doing business in the Hartford region for more than four decades. As a family-owned company, we especially appreciate all the relationships and connections that we have developed over the years.

We have enjoyed working with numerous architects, owners and developers, engineers, and subcontractors that do business in the area.
