Levy of Riverside Properties passes away at 64

Brookline, MA Mark Levy passed away on August 4th at the age of 64 after a long illness. Mark lived with his wife, Gail. 

Mark was a fixture in the Boston area real estate industry for more than forty years. He began his real estate career as a rental and sales associate with Brenner Associates in 1976. 

In 1978, he co-founded M & M Condominiums, a full-service real estate company that specialized in condominium conversions of apartment buildings. During the 1980’s, in addition to converting and selling hundreds of condominium units, he purchased and redeveloped commercial, retail properties, and multifamily residential properties. 

Levy was president of Riverside Properties, Inc. since its founding in 1992. Since then, he has represented financial institutions to help them deal with their troubled real estate and continued with both commercial and residential investment and redevelopment activities. Riverside is a real estate investment and property management company, which operates a portfolio of industrial, office, retail, and residential properties, representing more than 600,000 s/f in Mass. and New Hampshire.

Levy was a licensed real estate broker, a Realtor, and a member of The Appraisal Institute. He graduated from Thayer Academy and received his bachelor of arts degree from Northeastern University.
