Pawtucket, RI According to LLB Architects, Lerner Ladds Bartels, an architecture and interior design firm, Enno Fritsch LEED AP, Meaghan Kennedy, Assoc. IIDA, Cara Pomeranz, AIA, LEED AP, and Brian Valentine AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, MCCPO, have been named associates in recognition of their contribution to the continued growth of the firm.

Fritsch joined LLB Architects in 2015 bringing with him over 13 years of experience in planning and design for institutional clients in the academic and healthcare sectors. He graduated with a Diplom - Ingenieur/Graduate Engineer from the University of Karlsruhe in Germany (KIT) and has a master of science in Architecture Studies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In addition to his work as project manager, Fritsch was named director of design communication earlier this year where he is tasked with enhancing the clarity with which the firm’s designs and design ideas are visually presented. He has held positions with Payette, and as faculty in the Urban Design and Planning department of the University of Karlsruhe, Germany. 

A graduate of the New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University with a bachelor of fine arts in Interior Design, Kennedy joined LLB Architects in 2011. She is a creative interior designer who has a special interested in humanistic and sustainable design practices. As the director of interior design, Kennedy is responsible for leading and integrating the discussion of interior design throughout the design process on all the firm’s projects. Recent projects she has worked on include Rhode Island College Gaige and Craig Lee Halls and Cranston Public Library Children’s Room. Since 2013, she has been IIDANE Providence City Center director. 

Pomeranz holds a master of architecture, bachelor of architecture and associates in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology where she graduated cum laude as a President’s Award and Unsung Hero Award recipient. She joined the firm earlier this year. A registered architect in Massachusetts, she brings 10 years of experience, and a strong portfolio of design and technical skills to her work. Pomeranz is currently working on residential designs in both Barrington and Bristol. She has held positions with Payette, TRO Jung | Brannen, and McKay Architects.

Valentine joined LLB Architects in 2014 bringing over ten years of educational and public work experience. He received his bachelor of architecture from Roger Williams University. Earlier this year, he was named director of production and tasked with developing and implementing processes that maintain the firm’s high documentation standards. He is currently managing the Lincoln School Science Wing addition and the Franklin Public Library addition and renovations. Firms he has previously held positions with include Ai3 Architects and Vision 3 Architects.
