Martineau of Arrowstreet Inc. receives the 2018 AIA Young Architects Award

Boston, MA According to Arrowstreet Inc., a local architecture and design firm, senior associate Nicole Martineau has been recognized by the American Institute of Architects’ (AIA) with a 2018 AIA Young Architects Award.

Now in its 25th year, the AIA Young Architects Award is bestowed annually to a group of outstanding up-and-coming architects who have been licensed for 10 years or fewer and have made significant contributions to their respective firms and the field at large. It is a prestigious honor for those who demonstrate exceptional talent and strong leadership skills among relative newcomers to the industry. 

Martineau is a senior associate at Arrowstreet leading a diverse portfolio of projects including historic preservation, hospitality, commercial and residential. She is LEED AP BD+C certified, and previously served as the Young Architects Forum Knowledge director for the AIA. Martineau holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a bachelor of art’s degree in art and architectural history from Roger Williams University.

I am thankful to the AIA for this accolade and for the influential network they’ve built that’s so crucial in the career development of countless young architects including myself.”
