Allston, MA Mass Innovation Labs, one of the world’s leading accelerated commercialization programs for the biopharmaceutical industry, is expanding into the hardware and technology sector at Boston Landing. Mass Innovation Labs will occupy 84,000 s/f of the 15-acre mixed-use development that is home to New Balance Athletics, Inc., among other world-class companies and organizations beginning in June of 2018.
The new facility will be aimed at meeting the needs of cutting-edge biotech and technology companies looking for space and operating programs that can be customized to suit their needs. Mass Innovation Labs’ groundbreaking program in Kendall Sq., which opened its doors in 2015, has been providing emerging biopharmaceutical companies such as CRISPR Therapeutics and Editas Medicine with turnkey laboratory and office space and operational support that has companies up and running in a matter of weeks. The same proven and successful approach will be applied to the Boston Landing space to cater to the needs of technology companies looking for a place to grow.
