Messore of Colonial Properties brokers $232,000 sale at 20 Atwood Place

West Haven, CT Fred Messore, senior vice president of Colonial Properties, Inc., represented the seller, 20 Atwood Place and the Cantone Group, in the sale of 20 Atwood Place for $232,000.  The  4,130 s/f commercial building on .27 acre was purchased by The University of New Haven and will be used for offices and warehouse space.   The attorney representing the buyer was Donna Brooks of Shipman & Goodwin in Hartford, CT; the seller’s attorney was Bernard Pellegrino of The Pellegrino Law Firm in New Haven.   

Messore completed two lease transactions totaling $474,000 in value.  He represented the landlord, Life is Great, LLC, in the leasing of 10,000 s/f of warehouse space at 145 Boston Post Rd.  Savin Rock Printing, LLC signed a five -year lease with options for their screen print business. The attorney representing the landlord was JudaEpstein of Bridgeport, CT. 

Messore also represented the lLandlord, Milford Associates, in the leasing of 1,200 s/f of retail space at 51 Turnpike Sq. in Milford.  Doctors Eye Center LLC signed a 10-year lease and offers full service eye examinations and retail sales.  They will join other tenants such as Pier I, Michael’s, Big Lots and Golden Corral.  The attorney for the landlord was Paul Petigrow, Esq.; the tenant’s attorney was Howard Kantrovitz of Gesmonde, Pietrosimone & Sgrignari, LLC in Hamden.
