Newton of King & Newton elected 2010 president of the RCA of Mass.

Taylor Newton of King & Newton LLC has been elected 2010 president of the Realtors Commercial Alliance of MA - the statewide commercial Board of Realtors. Newton and other new RCA-MA officers and directors for 2010 were elected at the organization's recent Annual Meeting, held in Auburn.
In addition to Newton, the new officers, whose terms begin January 1st, are:
*Michael Sorrentino of Century 21 Franklin Street Associates in Lenox, president-elect - RCA-MA charter member;
*David Hutchinson of Coldwell Banker Commercial, NRT in Easton, treasurer; and,
*Timothy Garvey of Century 21 Commonwealth in Winchester, secretary.
The newly elected members of the board of directors include:

The RCA-MA was chartered by the National Association of Realtors in 2001as the only commercial overlay Board in Massachusetts, and expanded statewide in 2008. Commercial overlay boards were first allowed by the National Association of Realtors in 1993, and this type of Board serves commercial real estate professionals and overlays the jurisdiction of residential boards of Realtors. RCA-MA is headquartered in Chelmsford and has its own charter and bylaws as well as representation to the Massachusetts and National associations of Realtors. The term Realtor is a trademark for use exclusively by members of the National Association of Realtors, with offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
