Plymouth, MA Sherin and Lodgen LLP’s Renewable Energy Practice Group represented Wellesley Bank, a Massachusetts-based banking and wealth management company, in the development of three solar facilities. The facilities include a 385 kWh rooftop mounted facility in Canton, a 340 kWh ground mounted facility in Uxbridge, and a 480 kWh rooftop mounted facility in Plymouth. The Sherin and Lodgen team was led by Bethany Bartlett, chair of the group, and partner Beth Goldstein.
Bartlett focuses her practice on solar energy, representing lenders and developers. Her practice focuses on transactional real estate and includes project finance, the acquisition, disposition, leasing and financing of both developed and to-be-developed properties, including land use, zoning, title and permitting matters, as well as conservation and deed restrictions for the preservation of open space.
She has a specialty concentration in representing lenders in complex financing transactions, including investment tax credit deals, as well as permanent financing for solar facilities.
Goldstein represents buyers, sellers, developers, and lenders in the sale, acquisition, financing, development, and leasing of commercial real estate throughout the country. Her clients are engaged in complex financing transactions including construction and permanent financing of solar facilities, new markets, historic and low-income tax credit financing, and hotel development. Goldstein’s leasing practice includes landlord and tenant representation in the leasing of industrial, retail, restaurant, and office space.
