Title: N/A

Company: Duffley & Beaulieu, Realtors

Location: Manchester, NH

Birthplace: Manchester, NH, 1928

Education: High School; St. Anselm’s College (BA English ‘53) Member: Queen City Board of Realtors; Queen City Board MLS (Past Chairman, two years); New Hampshire Association of Real Estate Boards (State Education Chairman); NAREB; SREA (Assoc. Member); Manchester Exchange Club (Director); and St. Anselm’s Alumni Club (President of Manchester Club.) Having been the 1953 Captain of the St. Anslem’s Basketball Team, and holder of several records, Chuck’s hoop activities naturally led to thoughts of sports casting. But he turned, instead to coaching at the Bishop-Bradley High School, which under his guidance won the 1957-58 Class L Championship and went on to the semi-finals of both the New England Catholic and Public School Championship Playoffs. In 1959, Chuck left the courts and rebounded into real estate. Forming a partnership with Dick Beaulieu, an avid skier, the two men bought an abandoned grocery store as their first office. Today, their plush Victorian headquarters boasts eight people and a year-end total of $2 million in residential properties sold. “Large commercial chain department stores are located up here, which is a good sign for the Manchester region’s real estate growth,” Chuck said. “The tax structure and highway system are attracting people from even the Boston area.” Chuck, with four boys and a girl, just might be planning to have his own basketball team in about ten years’ time.
