Over the past few years 400 out of the 500 houses built in the area have been for retirement purposes. More and more buyers are becoming interested in the large old farm properties with acreage.” The state’s first Realtor also organized the State Board and was the first president and served for 3 years, as secretary for 7 years and director for 20 years. He has served as a national director, has been a member of the N.E. Council for over 20 years. He is president of Rotary and a member of the town planning board. Married for 47 years, Erle has a daughter, an attorney son-in-law and three grandchildren. In his spare time, besides bowling and biking, he is a member of the model railroad association.
