I began my appraisal career with First Federal Savings in 1965 and moved to Worcester the following year joining the staff of Peoples Savings Bank. Served as chief appraiser with the bank for 15 years and went into private practice in 1981. I received the RM designation in 1976, the SRPA in 1980 and the MAI in 1981. Served as president of the former New England Chapter of the AIREA in 1987 and headed the former Eastern Mass. Chapter, SREA the following year. Our full service real estate appraisal firm serves central Mass., and western portions of Middlesex and Norfolk Counties. While we specialize in all types of real property, I specialize in healthcare and lifecare facilities. The appraisal industry is in a state of transition, which is requiring greater levels of competency for the independent fee appraiser and the institutional review appraiser. There is also a great need for dialogue between the two disciplines.
