Quisenberry Arcari Architects selected to design $38.56 million project

North Stonington, CT Quisenberry Arcari (QA) Architects was selected by the town of North Stonington to design its $38.56 million schools upgrade project. 

The project includes a 44,500 s/f addition to the Wheeler Middle/High School, demolition of part of the middle school, the addition of a kitchen to North Stonington Elementary School, and moving the sixth-grade students to the elementary school. Other aspects of the project include addressing health and HAZMAT concerns, updating technology, and addressing security and safety issues.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2017.

QA Architects’ Rusty Malik, principal-in-charge of the project said, “Our team is looking forward to working with the building committee, the town, and the entire community to develop a far-reaching design that fulfills their vision for modernizing North Stonington’s school facilities.”
