Save the date! The solar story - February 28 with Becker + Becker

January 20, 2017 - Connecticut

Hartford, CT Due to strong demand for power, more energy will be required to make electricity in 2040 than today. The rise of energy sources like natural gas, wind, solar and nuclear will help keep emissions low while still meeting the world’s energy needs. Implementation of these technologies will impact how we utilize energy within our existing real estate infrastructure, and influence how we retrofit existing structures going forward.  Despite near-term policy uncertainty for renewable energy in the U.S., “solar’s fundamental prospects for continued growth and adoption remain positive,” says Goldman Sachs Research’s Brian Lee. He explains how improvements in technology and declining costs are making solar a more attractive source of incremental power. If you look at the actual cost to produce solar power today versus other sources of power like wind, natural gas and fossil fuel-generated resources, you’re now almost at parity.
