In 2023, demand for distribution and warehouse space stabilized nationwide as a backlog of space from pandemic record highs hit the market and financing became more difficult. However, key regions like New England have continued to see an active industrial market with ongoing demand and low vacancy rates.
Though it feels like the year just started a few weeks ago, somehow this will be my final message as ABC MA chair. I’m honored to serve as our chapter’s first female chair, and to have that honor in the same year that Maura Healey, the first woman elected governor of Massachusetts, assumed office.
