Providence, RI Stephanie Soscia, broker/owner of Premier Homes Realty in Cranston, was installed as the 24th president of the Rhode Island Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors (RICABOR) on October 3.  She previously served as the board’s president-elect, treasurer and corporate secretary. Soscia also serves on the board of directors of the RI Association of Realtors, is a certified real estate residential appraiser and is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.  

Additionally, the following officers were installed:

• 2018 president-elect - Robert Countie of Rhode Island Real Estate Services, East Greenwich

• 2018 treasurer and corporate secretary – Susan Kelly of Fenix Real Estate, Lincoln.

The following were also installed as directors:                  

• Dan Awde of Keystone Real Estate Group, Warwick

• Richard Berlinsky of Equity Advisory Group in East Greenwich

• Karen Catuogno of Abbott Properties, Warwick; and 

• Michael Saccoccio of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Warwick.

Also at the annual meeting, Peter Scotti was honored as the board’s 2017 Realtor of the Year, and $2,000 was presented as a charitable donation to Foster Forward, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children, young adults, and families whose lives have been impacted by foster care.
