Welcome to the country's largest weekly commercial real estate business newspaper. Almost everyone in the region who derives their livelihood from this multi-trillion dollar industry has access to this publication and uses it as a tool. Probably 90% of all development has taken place in the second half of the twentieth century – shopping malls and strips, industrial and office parks, condominiums – all concepts that never existed until the 1950s and 60s. This newspaper was founded in 1962 and has reported on all of these important events along with the people who made them happen.
The Journal has been designed to be user-friendly by sectioning off the different aspects and areas of the industry. Twice per month the Journal contains a section devoted solely to Connecticut. Monthly sections include Northern New England, Financial Digest, Appraisers, Owners/Developers/Managers, Environment/Design/Construction, Shopping Centers, Rhode island, and a special weekly display 20-24 page classified section with billions of dollars worth of real estate for sale and lease. The Journal also publishes monthly SPOTLIGHTS on different topics including PREVIEWS, INDUSTRIAL, OFFICE, RETAIL, 1031 EXCHANGE, INVESTMENTS, SECURITY and many others. The 42 year old Journal is a must read for everyone who directly or indirectly derives income from the industry.
