About Us:
Advanced Pipe Inspection, Inc. (API) started business as a Boston based sewer inspection company in 1995. API expanded into the sewer cleaning business in 1997 to complement their TV inspection services. With an initial CCTV van, API now operates three fully equipped units. As the reputation for APIs quality work spread, API began to service and fulfill customers needs throughout New England
As the customer base increased, API began an expansion to provide sewer maintenance and repairs required by customers. API focused upon providing customers with the latest Trenchless Technologies to solve sewer rehabilitation problems, No-Dig solutions and services became the company’s business.
APIs experienced crews realize that clients have different objectives, goals and timetables for utilizing company services. Advanced Pipe Inspection employs some of the best trained and most experienced field crews in New England - fully equipped, compliant with OSHA safety training requirements and capable of handling the jobs considered impossible by others.
Advanced Pipe Inspection is committed to providing quality services that exceed our clients needs and objectives. Advanced Pipe Inspection services include:
Pipeline Inspection Services:
Advanced Pipe Inspection operates 3 fully equipped CCTV inspection vehicles used for televising the interior of pipes. API has cameras that can inspect pipes from 2 to 96 inches in diameter. Collecting and compiling sewer system data is essential for proper maintenance of any wastewater collection system.
Sewer Cleaning Services:
Advanced Pipe has a full range of pipeline sewer cleaning machines. High pressure jetting equipment has operating ranges of 2,000 to 10,000 PSI with corresponding water flows from 10 to 100 gallons per minute. API sewer cleaning equipment includes cable snake machines for small diameter pipe cleaning to bucket machines capable of cleaning the largest dirt filled pipes.
Investigative Inspections:
Many customers experience sewer problems such as surcharging or flooding during heavy rain events without knowing the exact cause of problems. API can inspect sewer and drain systems to determine pipe problems and recommend corrective actions. Using CCTV equipment and electronic locating equipment, complete underground surveys can be completed.
No-Dig Pipe Rehabilitation:
API is a premier installer of Cured-In Place Pipe (CIPP) liners. This is a process that custom manufactures a pipe within a pipe eliminating the need for excavation. Advanced Pipe Inspection has a documented record of CIPP liner installations in pipes from 4 to 72 inches in diameter.
No-Dig Point Repairs:
Broken or missing sections of pipe, typically discovered during a CCTV inspection survey require immediate action to prevent a total line collapse. API can install small lengths of CIPP liner as a repair to a broken section of pipe, eliminating inconvenient service disruptions and excavations.
Manhole Rehabilitation:
Manholes degrade and deteriorate from the effects of acidic sewer gases and soil movement. Advanced Pipe offers two methods of rehabilitation; installation of structural CIPP manhole liners (a new manhole structure within a manhole) or application of spray-on enhanced material coated with an epoxy coating. These same technologies can be used to rehabilitate collection system lift stations, tanks and or vaults.
Computer Data Asset Management:
Sewer inspection data needs to be compiled to be effectively analyzed. API can construct a searchable database system for managers and engineers to manage sewer system assets.
Catch Basin Cleaning:
API provides a catch basin cleaning service to municipalities and commercial property owners. Stormwater catch basins need periodic cleaning to prevent blockages and reduce potential pollution discharge fines.
Industrial & Commercial Services:
API services industrial & commercial accounts with all types of pipeline services. Manufacturing facilities, landfills and commercial shopping malls all have pipe problems similar to municipalities and compliance requirements. API does perform any and all services within buildings related to pipe line problems.
Emergency By-Pass Pumping:
API can provide emergency by-pass pumping equipment to control wastewater when a sewer collapse occurs or for any other type of flooding event.
