How have you navigated obstacles to achieve success in your career: I was laid off early in my career. I remember being devastated and defeated but there was a silver lining, my education payback handcuffs were removed and that allowed me to relocate. That experience helped me to look for the positive in all situations. I always try to keep in mind that I have choices on how I react and there may an opportunity to turn a negative into a positive experience. You always have a choice but remaining positive, being open minded and flexible has opened many doors for me.
