Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why? There’s a reason why I’ve stayed at JC&A for 10 years – Jay Calnan and the partners here have had a huge impact on my career. When I started as the director of marketing, I knew I could execute a complete strategic marketing plan – but Jay and the team pushed me outside of my comfort zone to do more. They encouraged me to step outside the office, network and build relationships. I haven’t looked back since. Since I made that leap, I have co-founded PLA!, made contributions to the industry as a member of the board of directors for CoreNet and the CBA and held leadership positions for many other associations. I’ve learned a lot and had a ton of fun too. Some of my closest friends are people I’ve met as a result of that nudge I received 10 years ago.
As we enter the spring of 2026, the Rhode Island industrial real estate market stands on stable footing, following several years of resilience fueled by constrained supply, steady demand, and dynamic economic conditions.
