Starting out in the construction business, who or what empowered you? 26 years ago, I was a flight attendant with a degree in finance working part-time in real estate for a developer. I always had an interest in construction, but it wasn’t until I was walking-through a property with the developer that I really got thrust into it. I had pointed out a few issues and shared a few ideas I had for the space. He turned around and said I was his new owner’s representative. The rest is history! His guidance and encouragement empowered me to pursue a career in construction. To this day, I am thankful for that push!
