How has your working environment changed over the last year? The obvious change is we are not all in the office M-F, 9-5. The line between work vs. off-hours blurred for everyone years ago through the introduction of mobile phones, where we’re always connected – but with today’s hybrid work model, the line between “on” and “off” work hours is even less defined. The upside is we can take advantage of the resulting flexibility, including the ability to participate in meetings remotely vs. in person, and continue to operate efficiently and effectively.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2021? Bowdoin’s team oversaw substantial renovations at the May Institute’s newest May Center School in Norwood, MA. New residences and classrooms; kitchen and dining facilities; rehab, therapy, and vocational/ transitional skills training suites; an enhanced gymnasium and outdoor play areas; are now serving children, adolescents, and young adults living with a broad range of neurobehavioral challenges. Projects of this nature are extremely rewarding to be a part of.
