What made you interested in seeking a career in the AEC industry? I chose a career in architecture because it encompassed two of my strengths and interests: problem-solving and creativity. The main driver of architec-ture is solving problems to meet the needs of the clients both functionally and aesthetically. I love the variety - each project and its design challenges are unique even if the building type is similar. You use your experience to help inform how you will approach the project but be open to each project’s individual constraints and requirements. In addition, there are a variety of roles and responsibilities within architecture – design, technical, manage-ment, etc. – so many options.
