What recent project, transaction, or accomplishment are you most proud of? A recent project was the assemblage of over 20 acres in South Boston for a mixed-use master plan development project with a community focus. This complex project organized the land into four distinct districts for phased development. Financing included a $276 million aggregate loan featuring mortgage and mezzanine debt, cross-collateralized and cross-defaulted for pre-development and carrying costs. Parts of the project were syndicated, while others involved joint ventures for specific development goals.

What are the most important factors women in your industry should consider when choosing a firm to build their career with? I thrive on creatively tackling complex issues and recommend firms that offer such opportunities. A supportive environment for professional growth is crucial, particularly in diverse economic climates. The ideal workplace values work-life balance and fosters a familial, team-oriented atmosphere for a meaningful, enjoyable career.

Who inspires you most? What qualities do they possess that inspire you? My sons Ryan and John and stepchildren Hadley, Cameron, and Violet inspire me daily. John, born with a rare genetic disorder, has taught me about resilience and tolerance. Ryan’s kind soul and maturity anchors me. I strive to be a good role model, provide for them, and create family memories.
