2025 Women in Construction: Jordan Biggar, DPR Construction

Jordan Biggar
Preconstruction Manager
DPR Construction

What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? I recently had the opportunity to lead DPR’s preconstruction team in developing a GMP for a confidential pharmaceutical client’s new headquarters. The 288,000 s/f core and shell space was converted into an office, lab, and clinical manufacturing facility for the development and production of life-saving gene therapy drugs. It was truly a collaborative effort with the design and ownership teams, and I was really proud of the way our team was able to contribute to the overall success of a project that will have such a positive impact on the community.

What trends or innovations do you believe will shape the future of your field, and how are you positioning yourself (or your firm) to be at the forefront? Continuing to recruit, develop, and maintain a strong workforce is essential to the success of the industry, and I’m inspired by the continued increase of women who are entering the industry and becoming leaders in their areas of excellence. Similarly to how I’ve been given opportunities to advance in my role since joining DPR, I’m motivated to provide coaching and mentorship to other young women in our office who are hungry to develop new skills and find their niche. By providing mentorship and resources like our Women’s ERG, we’ll hopefully see these numbers continue to grow industry-wide!

What’s your favorite way to recharge or get inspired outside of work? A beach day and/or traveling to somewhere I haven’t been with a plan that can change any minute.
