What has been the most rewarding project or deal you’ve worked on in your career, and why? The most rewarding project I’ve worked on was the expansion of the Hale Family YMCA in Quincy, MA. I’ve been connected to the branch since childhood, first as a camper and swimmer, then later as a counselor and front desk attendant. When the new building was constructed during my teens, I saw how it strengthened community ties. Working on this latest addition feels like a full-circle moment, and I’m proud to help create a space that will continue to serve and grow with the community for years to come.

What’s a challenge you faced early in your career, and how did you overcome it? What I struggled with early on was realizing no one has all the answers. This field is full of evolving information, with codes and practices constantly updated. Success comes less from knowing everything yourself and more from knowing where to look, who to ask, and which resource will guide you. It’s easy to get stuck trying to solve things in a bubble, but I’ve learned that reaching out, collaborating, and leveraging others’ knowledge leads to faster answers and fosters growth along the way.
