2026 Mid-Year Review: Thomas Sweeney, Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal

Thomas Sweeney, SIOR
Principal
Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal

What projects, initiatives, or types of work have been keeping your team busiest during the first half of 2026?

Recently, our firm has been busy being a client ourselves. For 15 years, we have worked with property owners, developers, institutions, and businesses providing brokerage, appraisal, and advisory services across Rhode Island & Southern Massachusetts. We spent 11 of those years at the Turks Head Building in Providence before relocating this June to 56 Exchange Terrace. Providence is the hub of our businesses and the relationships we’ve developed, so when planning our move, remaining downtown was nonnegotiable. The custom build out of our new space demonstrates a trend we’ve observed in the market as more professionals return to the workplace. Now offering appraisal services in Massachusetts and doubling our brokerage team, our new office reflects the growth of our firm and marks the beginning of our exciting next chapter. The city is changing & we are changing with it. See you downtown!
